Hero 5K – Emerald Ise

Join us for the Hero 5K and an inspiring Monarch butterfly release! We will all release 86 gorgeous butterflies that have a mission to lift your spirits! We will release the butterflies at 8:45 race day morning, just prior to the start of the 5K. Bring a friend, even if they don’t run. They will get to release a butterfly and it will be worth getting out of bed for that.
If the cause isn’t enough to get you out of bed on a Saturday morning, how about fresh coffee and bagels from Panera? :-)

The Hero 5K was inspired by the heroes involved in fighting the #1 cancer killer. These heroes are the patients, doctors, nurses, caregivers, prayer warriors and loved ones of those fighting a lung cancer diagnosis. In addition to inspiring and encouraging lung cancer patients and those who love them, the event will raise much needed funding to make a difference in the world of lung cancer.
