Breathe Deep Salt Lake City

Breathe Deep Salt Lake City is a grassroots event in celebration of Jan Poulsen’s seventh year of lung cancer survivorship.  The Poulsen family had little information about lung cancer when Jan was diagnosed, so they turned to LUNGevity Foundation for answers and participated in another LUNGevity event, Breathe Deep Los Angeles.  Now they are excited to provide the Salt Lake City area with the same education and support they received from LUNGevity.  Breathe Deep Salt Lake City, which will raise critically needed funds for lung cancer research, is a 5K walk in the gorgeous Sugar House Park.  Join us for a morning of celebrating lung cancer survivors and raising awareness of this disease!

Breathe Deep Salt Lake City has a stroller, wheelchair and pet friendly course. (Be sure to clean up after you pets!) You will be provided with refreshments and we will also have a silent auction on event day. We are thrilled to have Dr. Kristine Kokeny with Huntsman Cancer Institute as well as Michael Siler, from the Utah Radon Coalition and Utah Radon Policy Coalition, during our event day program.

End: 08/09/2014 12:00 pm
