Ask Your Representatives to Co-Sponsor the Benay Taub Lung Cancer Research Act.
Representatives Gottheimer (D-NJ) and Lawler (R-NY) recently introduced a new bipartisan bill, the Benay Taub Lung Cancer Research Act.

Named in honor of lung cancer research advocate Benay Taub, this bipartisan bill would create a federal task force that includes representatives from the National Cancer Institute (NCI), National Institutes of Health (NIH), and the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) National Comprehensive Cancer Control Program, with a primary focus on evaluating and strengthening federal funding for lung cancer research and early detection, while also addressing screening access gaps and recommending best practices.

This is an important step in making sure lung cancer research gets more attention and more funding. Write your representative today and ask them to co-sponsor this bipartisan bill!
